Postcard publishers: CAP

This is a postcard of the Barbers Mosque in Kairouan,Tunisia.The quality of the photo is very good,and published by French publisher,CAP(which stands for: Compagnie Alsacienne des Arts Photomecaniques).I like their cards because they have usually high quality photo's.

 

The case of the missing minaret top

This is a postcard showing three mosques in Istanbul.The one in front is the Nuruosmaniye camii

(camii meaning mosque in Turkish).The reason I bought it,is because it is missing the top

of the left minaret.So I'm wondering:did the artist forget it,and did the publishers not notice?

Or was it perhaps actually missing at that time?
